sdfsdfBoiling Springs Elementary School serves 768 students including four year old kindergarten through fourth grade. Our school is one of nine elementary schools in Spartanburg School District Two, located in northern Spartanburg County of Upstate South Carolina. We are proud to be included in a family oriented, supportive community where many intentionally relocate to be a part of our school.

Boiling Springs Elementary is proud of its administration, faculty and staff and their commitment to student achievement. We have one principal and two assistant principals. Two instructional coaches for literacy and math support teachers with curriculum and instruction. Thirty-eight regular education classroom teachers serve students in four year oldBoiling Springs Elementary School Students Smiling kindergarten through fourth grade. Eighteen paraprofessionals assist teachers and students. Our special needs population is served by five special education teachers and three speech therapists. One full time ESOL teacher serves out ESOL population. We also have a part time teacher of gifted and academically talented students, six related arts teachers, and two guidance counselors. Of these teachers, more than half have advanced degrees, six have achieved National Board Certification status.


Our school serves a varied ethnic and socioeconomic population. The student body is predominantly Caucasian at 71.19%. Additionally, 11.63% are African American and 8.17% are Hispanic or Latino. Subsidized meals are provided for 51.89% of our students. The number of English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) students has seen little change in recent years and remains at an average of 13% of our student population.
